Alfred Layman
Alfred Richard Layman (24 April 1858 – 8 November 1940) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper who played in one first-class cricket match for Kent County Cricket Club.
Layman was born in Norwood in Surrey in 1858.[1] His only first-class appearance came in 1893 against Lancashire. Ten years later, Layman appeared in a single-innings match for Granville against London County, taking one stumping.[2]
He died in November 1940 at Beckenham in Kent aged 82.[1]
