AliensFest (Formerly TheTechFest) is an independent technology and career conference for students held by EngineersHub in association with Facebook and CDK Global. It also refers to the independent body from EngineersHub who organize this event along with many other social initiatives and outreach programs around the year. AliensFest hosts a variety of events that include tech talks, management talks, inspirational talks, workshops, project expo, experience zones, competitions, exhibitions.

AliensFest started in 2016 as TheTechFest to create awareness in tech students about latest technologies and motivate them to start building and showcase their talent. Now it has grown to India's largest independent technology and career conference for students with a footfall of 5200 [4] in last edition.

AliensFest 3.0 - The Transformation[edit]

Third Edition of AliensFest is scheduled on October 6th and 7th [5], in collaboration with Technology Business Incubator, BITS Pilani Hyderabad. Theme for third edition is The Transformation.

TheTechFest 2017 - Awaken the Future[edit]

TheTechFest 2017 was based on the theme Awaken the Future, where students are introduced to the various aspects of technology and distruptive thinking and also celebrate Technology[6]. TheTechFest 2017 was powered by CDK Global and in association with Facebook [7].The emphasis at TheTechFest 2017 was on technology and its applications rather than just engineering know—how. It has witnessed a participation of more than 3200 on each day of the event. Ankur Mehra, Head of Media and Partnerships, Facebook India has spoken about culture and its importance[8]. 22 Workshops from various streams of Engineering witnessed a participation of more than 1600 students. 20 Projects were displayed in the Project Expo which was a great highlight among participants. TheTechFest 2017 have got the participation from students of 96 Colleges in India. A talk on Micro Satellites given by Dr. S. M. Ahmed, Ex ISRO Scientist drawn more interest among students.
