This is an alphabetical list of the 8,100 Italian comuni which existed following the 2009 merger of Campolongo al Torre with Tapogliano to form the new comune of Campolongo Tapogliano, and the redesignation of Rivanazzano as Rivanazzano Terme.[1] These represent the fundamental municipal units of the local government system of the country.
