Amatorculus is a genus of the jumping spiders, with two described species from Brazil.

Name

The genus name means "small friend" in Latin. The epitheton stygius is Latin for "from hell"

Distribution

A. stygius is known from Distrito Federal and the State of São Paulo in Brazil. Both species have been found in Minas Gerais.
