Amorebieta-Etxano also known as Zornotza (Spanish, Amorebieta-Echano) is a town and municipality located in Biscay in the Basque Country, an Autonomous Community in northern Spain. Athletic Bilbao defenders Xabier Etxeita and Jon Aurtenetxe were born in Zornotza. Another prominent sportsperson native to the town is Beñat Intxausti, a professional cyclist.

Its population is about 19,000. The mayor is Andoni Agirrebeitia.[1]
