An Introduction to the Philosophy of Religion is an 1880 book by John Caird.

Summary

Carid's understanding of philosophy of religion is similar to that of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, for whom it is a study of the ways in which God is represented in religious consciousness, and leads to a properly philosophic understanding of the divine.[1]

Influence
