Ana Karina Áñez Delgado (born 4 January 1985, Barquisimeto) is a Venezuelan TV host and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Miss Venezuela 2003 representing her home state of Lara.


Miss Venezuela 2003[edit]

Ana represented her home state of Lara at Miss Venezuela 2003 where she won the title and the right to represent her country at Miss Universe 2004.[citation needed]

Miss Universe 2004[edit]

She represented Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2004[1] in Quito, Ecuador where she failed to place in the semifinals, ending Venezuela's two-decade streak of consecutive placements in Miss Universe, from 1983 through 2003.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Ana Karina got married to Juan Nuñez on 3 September 2011, and they live in Barquisimeto, Lara, where she hosts a local TV show. She is also the manager of a local business.[2]
