Shree AnanthNagar [1] is a layout situated in the south of Bangalore. It is about 5 km from the Electronic City 2nd Phase and about 11 km from the Central Silk Board, and occupies an 800acre space.

History[edit]

It was developed in 1991. It is developed into three phases and lies near Fruit Market and has many IT companies coming up. It was developed for the community, where now it houses hundreds of families.

Culture[edit]

People who reside have rented their properties to many different cultures. It has a school and a religious temple Ananthngar Venkatramana Temple developed in 1997.[2] Here each religious occasions are carried out gracefully, may it be new year, tulsi pooja, havana, navratri. It is clean and green Place. People are effectively working towards the peaceful area to make an example to live in.

It is surrounded By the National Fruit Market at the Veerasandra, and comes under the Hebbagodi police station limit. And also the St. Francis De sales Church run by the Catholics and the PU college run by them.[3] and also Narayana Hrudayalaya 3 km away.
