Amanda Elizabeth Janet "Andi" Muise[1] (/ˈmjuːs/, born January 12, 1987) is a Canadian model.[4]

Early life and discovery[edit]

Born on January 12, 1987 in North Bay, Ontario,[5][6] Muise was discovered at the age of 14 in a Barrie mall by Michèle Miller, owner of the International Model Management agency, who also discovered Jessica Stam.[1] She is an only child.[7]

Muise is of Irish, French[8] and Native American descent.[2][9]


Muise has modelled for major brands, such as Emporio Armani,[10] Bloomingdale's, Intimissimi, Pantene,[11] Kenneth Cole, Urban Outfitters,[12] FCUK,[12] shot for GQ,[13] Allure and other magazines.[14][15][16]

Muise has also starred in commercials for the Playboy VIP for Him [17] and Her fragrances.[18]

In 2005, she appeared in the Victoria's Secret 10th annual fashion show,[1] also walking the runway for them in 2006 and 2007.[19] She has walked for shows that include Abaete, Lacoste, Lela Rose, Yigal Azrouel, Nanette Lepore, Julien Macdonald, Oscar de la Renta,[20] Trovata, and Dolce & Gabbana. She appeared on Project Runway, walking for designer Santino Rice in the season finale.

After her career as a model, she would like to become a shoe and jewelry designer.[2]

In 2006, Fashion Television documented a day in her life.[7] In 2010, Muise toured as an interviewer with The Black Eyed Peas through America for's own show Hangin' Wit the DJ.[21][22]
