Anime no Chikara (アニメノチカラ, lit. The Power of Anime) was a joint project of TV Tokyo's anime department and Aniplex established in 2009 for the creation of original anime series not based on previously published material such as manga, visual novels, or video games.[1] The project was launched in January 2010 with the airing of Sound of the Sky. The project was put on an indefinite hiatus after only three series.
