Archbishop O'Leary is a high school located in northeast Edmonton just north of the downtown core. Archbishop O'Leary is known for its diverse teaching ways.[1] The high school is fairly large with an enrollment of about 1.6k students.[2]

History

Archbishop O'Leary was opened in 1960 when Edmonton had a population of about 150,000.[citation needed] It is an old school, but is currently being renovated. A new area already added is called the "Success Centre", where students can go to socialize, do homework, plan for their futures and check out books.
