Ashley Alexiss is an American plus-size model, television personality, and entrepreneur. She is most widely known for her role on the Oxygen network television show Fix My Mom. She was featured in Sports Illustrated's 2019 Swimsuit Runway Show in Miami.

Early life[edit]

Alexiss was born Ashley Alexiss Smith in Boston, Massachusetts. Her mother is fellow reality-television star Velvet Smith. She attended Northeast Regional Metropolitan High School in Wakefield, Massachusetts where she was president of the National Honor Society chapter.

Alexiss received her MBA from Kaplan University.


Alexiss began her modeling career entering the Miss Teen Massachusetts in 2006 and won Miss Congeniality. She was named Playboy’s Miss Social in February 2011 and Playboy South Africa's “Girl Next Door” in 2012.

She has been a brand ambassador for various product lines including being named the "Body Positivity Guru" for Spencer Gifts. In 2019 she became the first plus-size model to walk in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week.

She and her mother are featured on multiple episodes of Oxygen's television show Fix My Mom.

Alexiss is currently CEO of her own company selling her personal brand of swimwear.[1] As of 2019 she is one of the top Instagram influencers among her fellow models.

Personal life[edit]

Alexiss married Travis Yohe in 2018 in North Haledon, New Jersey. The pair's relationship began when they became business partners in 2015.

As of 2018 Alexiss resides in California.
