B. H. Abdul Hameed is a Sri Lankan Tamil radio broadcaster, master of ceremonies, television host and film actor. He is known for his broadcasting career on Radio Ceylon, the oldest radio station in South Asia. Hameed has hosted many Tamil cultural events around the world.

Early life

He was noticed by his Tamil[1] teaches that he has special talent to remembering any details subject without any difficulties, so he been give guidance to attend junior speech competition at the school age of eleven .Also got an opportunity to acting small child character at school Stage Drama call Thewanbian Theesan . Then he was selected to performed two stage drama at same time . Characters was Jansor Rani and Karnan .[2]

Career[edit]

He joined a band of announcers who enjoyed iconic status across South Asia. Millions of listeners tuned into the radio station once known as Radio Ceylon. One of the most popular Tamil radio

Hameed also made a special appearance in the 2001 Tamil Indian film Thenali directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Now he is usually chosen as master of ceremony for many international-Tamil events, especially in Canada and Europe. He currently hosts the game show Rasigan aired on Kalaignar TV.

He occasionally works on other Tamil television channels across the world, such as Sun TV, Raj TV, TVI and Tamil One.
