Baranowo [baraˈnɔvɔ] (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wielbark, within Szczytno County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Wielbark, 30 km (19 mi) south of Szczytno, and 57 km (35 mi) south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
