BattleCry Studios is a video game developer based in Austin, Texas. It was created in 2012 by ZeniMax Media Inc and is headed by Rich Vogel, a long-time industry professional whose work includes Ultima Online and Star Wars Galaxies, as well as other online and console titles during his 20+ years in game development. Rich Vogel most recently served as the executive producer of Star Wars: The Old Republic during his time at BioWare Austin. BattleCry Studios is seeking employees with experience in "micro transactions," implying the studio is working on F2P games.[2]

On May 28, 2014, BattleCry Studios announced their first game, a free-to-play multiplayer video game called BattleCry.[3]

BattleCry Studios is the second ZeniMax Media studio located in Austin, joining Arkane Studios.[4]
