Hermas Radwan Stadium (Egyptian Arabic: ستاد هرماس رضوان), commonly known by its former name Beni Ebeid Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Beni Ebeid, Dakahlia, Egypt, used mainly for football matches with a capacity of 30,000.[1] It's the joint-sixth largest football stadium in Egypt by capacity.[2]
The stadium was opened in 1992, and is the home venue of Beni Ebeid.[3] It previously acted as the home venue for different local sides, including Dikernis and El Mansoura.[4] Besides sports, the stadium hosts annual religious and cultural events.[5]
On 19 November 2020, the stadium was renamed to Hermas Radwan Stadium, following the death of Beni Ebeid president and founder, Hermas Radwan, who died the previous day due to COVID-19.[6][7]
