Benjamin Gonson (c.1525–1577) was the son of William Gonson and was a surveyor for the English Royal Navy. He likely served under King Edward VI, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth.[1] His wife, Ursula, was daughter of Anthony Hussey, an Admiralty Court judge under Henry VIII.[2]
