Besties is an upcoming American comedy television series set to premiere on Freeform.
Premise
Besties explores "friendship, identity, race, and class as two lifelong best friends use each other to get through some of the toughest challenges that they will ever face – figuring out who they are and who they want to be."[1]
Production
Development
On May 15, 2018, it was announced that Freeform had given the production a series order. The show was created by Kenya Barris and Ranada Shepard. Production companies involved with the series include ABC Signature Studios.[1][2][3]
