Beta Coronae Australis, Latinized from β Coronae Australis, is a K-type bright giant star in the constellation of Corona Australis.[1] It has an apparent visual magnitude of approximately 4.117.[1] Located around 500 light-years distant, it shines with a luminosity approximately 620 times that of the Sun and has a surface temperature of 4771 K.[4]
