Bien-Air Medical Technologies develops, manufactures, and markets instrumentation devices and systems across multiple dental and surgery specialities. The company operates eight subsidiaries from its Bienne, Switzerland headquarters and is backed by a network of distributors, agents, and after-sales centers on all five continents.

Bien-Air was founded by David Mosimann in 1959 to develop medical instruments that would improve work for medical practitioners. They developed their first air-turbine dental drill in 1965. The first all electric dental drill in was developed by Bien-Air in 1970.[1]
