Bocșa (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈbokʃa] (About this soundlisten); Hungarian: Boksánbánya; German: Deutsch-Bokschan, Neuwerk) is a town in Caraș-Severin County, in southwestern Romania, with a population of 15,842 in 2011.

Notable persons[edit]

Romanian bodybuilder Valentin Bosioc has spent his childhood and attended high school in Bocșa.[1]
