Brava is a concelho (municipality) of Cape Verde. It covers the whole island of Brava. Its capital is the town Nova Sintra. As of 2012, its president was Clóvis Silva.

History[edit]

The municipality was formed in 1854 after splitting from the municipality of Fogo (then as Fogo and Brava)
