Brett Marx (born December 26, 1964) is an American movie and television actor and producer
Best known as Jimmy Feldman in the Bad News Bears movies, Marx was born in Los Angeles, California. He has also appeared on television, in one episode each of Tales from the Darkside, My Two Dads and Party of Five.[1] In 1981, he was nominated for a Genie Award for Best Performance by a Foreign Actor in The Lucky Star.[2]
Marx is the grandson of Milton "Gummo" Marx, and a great-nephew of Groucho, Harpo, Chico and Zeppo Marx. (Gummo, the second-youngest of the five brothers, was a member of the troupe on stage in the 1920s but dropped out before any of the films were made, becoming the agent to the Marx Brothers). In the Bad News Bears films, Brett (with blonde curly hair) has a strong resemblance to Harpo Marx, a fact that is even remarked on in The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training.
Today, Marx is a commercial and film producer. He is married and has two children.
