Buddleja 'Blue Gown' is a hybrid cultivar raised at Sir John Quicke's[1] garden at Newton St Cyres, in Devon, England. The ancestry of 'Blue Gown' is unknown, but it has been speculated the plant is the result of a crossing of B. crispa and B. davidii [2]
