Cultivar 'Panache'
Origin UK?

Buddleja davidii 'Panache' is a cultivar raised from a chance seedling found by Maurice Foster in his Kent, England, garden in the 1990s. [1]

'Panache' is distinguished by its deep blue-purple branched panicles, similar to those of 'Dartmoor'. However, the branches are scarcely able to bear the weight of these compound flowerheads, causing them to droop to the ground.[1]

'Panache' is rare in cultivation in the UK and not known beyond it. A specimen is grown at the Longstock Park Nursery as part of the NCCPG national collection of Buddleja. [1]
