The thirteenth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation premiered on September 26, 2012 on CBS.

The season will begin by tying up the 5 cliffhangers from last season. Nick will adopt a German shepherd in the October 31 episode, and in a November episode CSI will revisit the story of Warrick Brown, who was murdered in 2008.[2]
