The song made its debut at number four on the Gaon Digital Chart and number one on the Download Chart. Additionally, the song debuted at number 16 on the US Billboard World Digital Songs Chart.
Public reception
Baekhyun launched a viral Internet video trend called Candy Challenge with Kasper of 1 Million Dance Studio who choreographed the dance for "Candy".[2] The hashtag #CandyChallenge was used for popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok.[3][4]
