Carmyle Primary School is a primary school in Carmyle, Glasgow, Scotland. The old Victorian building (and associated portable classrooms) were replaced in the mid-1970s with the famous flying saucer shape/open-plan schools design, which was a rarity in Scotland at the time. This was burned down in a fire on Boxing Day 1994 and re-opened in May 1996 with a more traditional exterior shape. Previous Heads have been Linda Logue, Fiona McDonald and Marion Hughes

Mrs Linda Baird had been acting headteacher since August 2014. She is now the school's permanent headteacher. The Depute Head is Mrs Angela Jamieson. The school has a regularly updated website: Carmyle Primary School Follow the school on twitter @carmyleps

The students from this particular school generally further their education at Bannerman High School.
