This category holds dishes in which the main or essential ingredient is a vegetable belonging to the genus Brassica. The major edible vegetable members of Brassica are choy sum, Chinese cabbage (Napa cabbage and bok choy), mustard greens, rapini, rutabaga (swede), tatsoi, and turnip, and the cultivars of the species Brassica oleracea.
