This category contains articles related to the native flora of Southeastern Europe.

• For the purposes of this category, "Southeastern Europe" is defined in accordance with the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (WGSRPD), namely as a region within the botanical continent of Europe that includes the following areas, typically defined by the political boundaries of its constituents:
  • Albania
  • Bulgaria
  • Greece
  • Italy
    • San Marino
    • Vatican City
  • Crete (Kriti)
  • Romania
  • Sicily
    • Malta
  • European Turkey (Turkey-in-Europe, East Thrace)
  • Yugoslavia – a former country, but still known as a region containing the following:
    • Bosnia and Herzegovina
    • Croatia
    • Kosovo
    • the Republic of Macedonia
    • Montenegro
    • Serbia
    • Slovenia

The East Aegean Islands, politically part of Greece, are part of the region of Western Asia, rather than the botanical region of Southeastern Europe.

• Native taxa of the lowest rank are included if they occur widely in the region, otherwise they should be included in the flora of one or more of the constituent areas. Higher taxa are included only if endemic.
