The Lechtal Alps are a mountain range in the Northern Limestone Alps, part of the Eastern Alps. The range is located in the Austrian states of Tyrol and Vorarlberg, the largest part being in the Tyrol.
The boundary for the region is based on the definition of the Northern Limestone Alps and its subdivision into individual ranges according to the Alpine Club classification of the Eastern Alps (AVE). By this definition the Lechtal Alps are bounded by the line: River Lech from Lech to Reutte -- Porta Claudia -- Zwischentoren-Grundbach to Lermoos -- Fernpass -- Nassereith -- Gurglbach -- River Inn to Landeck -- Sanna -- Rosanna to St. Anton -- Arlbergpass -- Rauzbach bis Stuben -- Flexenpass -- Zürser Bach -- Lech .
