The following festivals celebrate elements of Punjabi culture, a region that encompasses areas in both India and Pakistan. While many of the festivals take place in the Punjab region, others take place elsewhere, among the diaspora of Punjabi people. Many of them are predominantly celebrated by Punjabi Sikhs and Punjabi Hindus, but some also see participation by Punjabi Muslims.

They are general or gazetted (optional) holidays in India, but almost all are neither public nor gazetted holidays in Pakistan. Pakistani Muslims celebrate Islamic festivals and holidays. See also: Category:Festivals in Punjab, Pakistan, Category:Islamic festivals
