Name change?[edit]

I think this category should be renamed to Category:Bleach (manga) to match the main article. Also because typing (manga/anime) is annoying. Any objections? --tjstrf 21:02, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd support it. Dekimasu 01:59, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As per the anime and manga project page, Article introductions should be primarily about the first format of a work (usually manga) and not about the most popular format of that work (usually anime). For example: Bleach is a manga series, that was later adapted into an anime series", NOT Bleach is an anime series, based on a manga of the same name. In cases where title disambiguation is necessary, a similar guideline should be followed. So this change should probably happen. Dekimasu 02:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there's also that reason, which I'd forgotten. That was why we chose to use Bleach (manga) rather than Bleach (manga/anime) for the main article in the first place. --tjstrf 03:08, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I support this change too for consistency. Jeltz talk 18:12, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Soo.... what was the previous category name before the rename? The current name (Category:Bleach (manga)) looks slightly odd when I see it listed as a subcategory under anime categories, but not a big problem. —Tokek 15:40, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
