Untitled[edit]

As half of these boardgames are WWII-era, I've created a subcat and diffused them. Looks a bit easier to navigate now. Marasmusine 14:19, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

'war-themed'[edit]

Hmm. Just really noticed that in the intro for the category. This fits within the (very logical) 'board games by theme' system that it's been put into. However, "board wargame" has a specific meaning that goes beyond mere theme. Or, at least it does to those people who play such games. Therefore, there are 'war-themed' games that are not 'wargames'. For anyone curious about this disconnect, see the current version of the overview in wargaming, which is starting to go into this. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rindis (talkcontribs) 04:27, 27 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Wow, I notice that I forgot to sign it as soon as it loads, and a bot has already beaten me to it.... --Rindis 04:29, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Abstract games[edit]

The intro says this is a list of wargames and war-themed games excluding Chess and Go. But Chess is on the list and not Go. Shouldn't Chess be removed? (173.68.57.180 (talk) 15:45, 22 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]
