We should make a comedy stub. (unsigned comment from anon)
Stubs are split by type of medium, so there would need to be one for comedy books, another for comedy television, one for comedy films, one for comedians... (BTW, some of these already exist: {{comedy-film-stub}} and {{comedian-stub}}). A pure and simple {{comedy-stub}} doesn't fit in very well with the stub hierarchy. See WP:WSS/P for any further responses (BTW, I moved your proposal to the proper place on the page - you had put it immediately under the big notice which said "don't put new proposals down here".
