Category:Noble titles includes the (true) statement,

Please note that this page is unlikely ever to list all 'noble' titles discussed in Wikipedia, since quite some derived/related titles (especially for descendants, as discussed in Prince) and translations (some more may be found via the equivalent categories in other language-Wikipedias) are only discussed in a (sub)section, not on a page of their own.

This could be solved to some degree by creating {{R to section}} redirects and including them in this category as an exception to the general rule — actually guideline — not to categorize redirects. It might even be worthwhile to create a {{Categorized redirect}} template. — Robert Greer (talk) 13:36, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Couples admitted to knighthood

[edit]

Should we have a category for couples where both partners have been admitted to knighthood? I'm wondering because when this recently happened in New Zealand (with Adrienne, Lady Stewart recently being appointed a Dame Companion of The New Zealand Order of Merit, after her late husband had been knighted in 1979), the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet was apparently "unsure if there were any other knighted couples in New Zealand".[1] I've since come across other New Zealand couples that fit this bill:

Obviously, this would happen in other countries, too. So, should we have a category for this? Schwede66 02:26, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
