I object to this degree being referred to as BS! :P --Qrystal (talk) 21:28, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't BS short for Bullshit?[edit]

Bachelor Of Science is usually abbreviated to BsC, surely! DavidFarmbrough (talk) 05:34, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Abbreviation...[edit]

This really needs to be changed... the prospect of having a degree which is abbreviated to something that is a lot like "BS" might turn off some people... BcS would most likely be more suitable in this case... Until It Sleeps Wake me 15:26, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move[edit]

I propose a move to Category:Wikipedians with Bachelor of Science degrees. Whether or not "BS" is used in the States, I've only ever heard of BSc (UK). Moving to a non-abbreviation would avoid this bullshit. Thoughts? Fribbulus Xax (talk) 22:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, it will get around the BS != BSc dilemma. +mt 23:10, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No more BullShit[edit]

This has been discussed here since 2008, with no progress. I am not prepared to be in this category any longer. I am removing myself until such time as we can have a category:Wikipedians with BSc degrees. Thanks, Ian Cairns (talk) 20:48, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Errr.. or category:Wikipedians with Bachelor of Science degrees - as per the recent cfr. Thank you to contributors on all sides of the discussion. Ian Cairns (talk) 23:14, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
