Catete is one of the four communes in the municipality of Icolo e Bengo, Luanda Province, Angola (the others being: Bom Jesus, Cabiri and Cassoneca).

Transport[edit]

It is served by a railway station on the Luanda Railways.[1]

Catete is the major graveyard for old steam locomotives on the northern line.[2]
