Chaparral Hill is a former settlement and mining camp in Amador County, California.

It was on the Mokelumne River upstream from Lancha Plana.[1]

Chaparral Hill was founded in the 1850s for gold mining during the California Gold Rush.[1]

Several crossings of the Mokelumne River were located at Chaparral Hill: Judge Palmer's Bridge, Delaney's Bridge, Westmoreland's Ferry, and Westmoreland Bridge.[1]
