The Ch. Devi Lal State Institute Of Engineering & Technology [2] (abbreviated CDLSIE&T) is a public government engineering institution located in Sirsa, Haryana. It is among the two engineering college run by the government in Haryana, the other being Government Engineering College, Nilokheri.

History

The college was inaugurated on 26 September 2003. The college is named after the former Deputy Prime Minister of India , Chaudhary Devi Lal, who was also the former Chief Minister of Haryana. It was established to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of Engineering education with focus on new frontiers of technology and to achieve excellence in the connected fields.

Location

The college is situated in Panniwala Mota, district Sirsa, Haryana. It is about 270 km. from Delhi on Delhi-Sirsa- Fazilka National Highway (NH-10) and 22 km. from Sirsa on Sirsa-Dabwali road. It is at a distance of about 250 km. from Chandigarh. It is well connected by road.
