Cheoki is a major station in Allahabad District after Allahabad Junction. It has all train stoppage which have to bypass Allahabad Junction coming from Jabalpur side and going to Mughal Sarai side. Cheoki (Chheoki) Junction (Hindi : छिवकी जंक्शन) is situated on New Delhi - Howrah Main Line. Cheoki have a 3 Upper level platform, One UTS. Some popular trains that stop at Cheoki are Tapti Ganga Express, Baghmati Express, Dadar Superfast express, Mahanagari express, Shipra express, Mumbai Mail, Sanghamitra SF Express and Chambal express. The station is constructed considering Allahabad Jn, in order to decongest it and provide a separate route for trains to southern India from eastern India and hence allowing trains on New Delhi-Howrah route to run on time and avoiding a delay of more than 30 minutes for engine change at Allahabad for trains from Mugal Sarai side to Jabalpur side. The station is a B-class station and a part of NC Railways under Allahabad Division. The station holds train plying to Manikpur-Jabalpur-Itarsi, Manikpur-Jhansi-Gwalior, Manikpur-Katni-Bhopal-Indore and Manikpur-Nagpur-Gondia-Secunderabad-Yesvantpur Route. The Mumbai Mail (Howrah - Mumbai CST - Howrah) and Sanghamitra SF Express (Bengaluru - Patliputra (Patna) - Bengaluru) are some of its long distance trains. The station currently lacks facilities like porters and worsened conditions of platform adds to despair however efforts are made in order to convert the station into a satellite hub for better amenities and good passenger support being a station holding trains to southern India in ALLAHABAD division.
