Francisco José Castro Fernandes (born 18 September 1981 in Vila Nova de Famalicão), commonly known as Chico, is a former Portuguese footballer who played as a striker.

In a career mainly associated with F.C. Famalicão, he played in 103 Segunda Liga games, scoring 14 goals over the course of five seasons. Professionally, he also competed in Romania.
