Chinaplas (Chinese: 中国国际塑料橡胶工业展览会) is an Asian trade show for the plastics and rubber industries.

History

The exhibition was founded in 1983. For nearly 30 years, CHINAPLAS has become a distinguished meeting and business platform for plastics and rubber industries and has also largely contributed to their prosperous development. This event is being recognized as Asia’s No.1 and the world’s No.3 largest international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industries after K Fair, Germany and NPE, USA.[citation needed]

Chinaplas has been certified as a "UFI Approved Event" by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Chinaplas 2009 (The 23rd International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries) took place in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China from May 18–21, 2009 at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex.

ChinaPlas 2012 closed on 21 April, 2012 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). ChinaPlas 2013 will be held from May 20, 2013 to May 20. 2013 at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou.
