Chuichi Date (伊達 忠一 Date Chūichi, born January 20, 1939) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party and a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Ashibetsu, Hokkaido and high school graduate, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2001 after serving in the prefectural assembly of Hokkaidō. He is the current President of the House of Councillors.
