Chuy's is a Tex-Mex chain restaurant headquartered in Austin, Texas.[1] The restaurant chain was established in 1982. The company has 72 locations and 6 currently under construction (2016) in Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Florida, and Arkansas, USA (Austin, Fort Worth, Lubbock, College Station, Denton, San Antonio, Round Rock, Houston, Dallas, Waco, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Knoxville, Nashville, Tulsa, Birmingham, Atlanta, Bowling Green, Louisville, Lexington, Florence, Cincinnati, Gainesville, Kansas City, Kissimmee, Clarksville, Little Rock and Rogers).[2]

The traditional Tex-Mex cuisine includes enchiladas, nachos, quesadillas, and tacos. Every year on Elvis Presley's birthday, January 8, most locations host the Elvis' Birthday Bash, during which an Elvis impersonator visits the restaurant. Chuy's also annually hosts a Green Chile Festival at its locations, celebrating the harvest of the Hatch Green Chiles from Hatch, New Mexico. In addition, Chuy's is a sponsor of community events such as the Hot To Trot 5K and the Children Giving to Children Holiday Parade.[3]
