"Computer Love" is a song performed by Zapp & Roger, issued as the fourth and final single from their fourth studio album The New Zapp IV U. Featuring vocals by Shirley Murdock and Charlie Wilson (a remix of the song without Wilson's vocal was recorded after Total Experience Records president Lonnie Simmons threatened a lawsuit), the song was written by Murdock and Zapp bandleader Roger Troutman.[1] (on the album credits of The New Zapp IV U, the song is credited to Roger Troutman and Larry Troutman). "Computer Love" peaked at number 8 on the Billboard R&B chart in 1986.[2]
