Anastasia 1902-1918 was the youngest but most famous daughter of Nicholas II of Russia.

She was murdered along with the rest of her family in 1918.

She has been impersonated twice , once by an American woman named Eugenia Smith and once by a Polish woman calling herself "Anna Anderson." The latter imposter has been the subject of much controversy, with numerous people convinced that she was indeed Anastasia. However, DNA testing done in the 1990s, after her death, has proven her to be a charlatan.

She has also been the subject of some films, the most recent being the historically inaccurate cartoon film "Anastasia".
