Crossgates Mall, located in the suburb of Guilderland, New York, west of Albany, opened on March 4, 1984. The upscale shopping center feautures over 250 stores and restaurants, an 18-screen IMAX Regal Cinema theater, and is anchored by JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, and Macy's. Other major retailers include Forever 21, Best Buy, Williams-Sonoma, H&M, Dick's Sporting Goods, Pottery Barn, and the Apple Store. It is the fourth-largest mall in New York State and is managed by The Pyramid Companies, who also manages Crossgates Commons, a large shopping plaza located across Washington Avenue Extension.
