David Lee Moroni (born March 14, 1938) is a former Canadian dancer and teacher.

He was born in Ottawa, studied dance with Nesta Toumine and performed with her local company. In 1964, he joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, becoming principal dancer in 1966. In 1970, he became head of the company's professional training program, retiring in 2003.[1] Moroni received the Order of Canada in 1990.[2]

Moroni, who regularly performed the role of Drosselmeyer in the ballet company's production of The Nutcracker, appeared as Van Helsing in the film Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary, based on a ballet by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.[1]

Moroni now lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick with his partner, Paul Daigle.[1]
