David Sun (Chinese: 孫大衛; pinyin: Sūn Dàwèi; born October 1951) is an American billionaire businessman, co-founder (with John Tu) and COO of Kingston Technology.

Early life[edit]

David Sun was born in October 1951[2] in Taiwan and was educated at Tatung University. He moved to the United States in 1977.[1][3]

Career[edit]

According to Forbes, Sun has a net worth of $6.0 billion, as of February 2018.[1]

The David and Diana Sun Foundation, founded in 2001, contributes towards education and healthcare, mainly in Taiwan.[1][4]

Personal life[edit]

He is married with two children and lives in Irvine, California.[1]
